COME ON IN

WELCOME to our backyard here you will find all that down home goodness with all the sweet smells of summer time all year long. Remember when you and the hole family would go down the block to uncle Bucks house a couple of Saturdays a mouth and see all your cousins, neighbors and friends. Their would be music blaring from Billy's boom box plugged in to and extension cord sticking out of the hole in the screen of his bedroom window. Lenny and Larry would be pitching horse shoe's while Sammy and Sarah were tossing those big giant lawn darts Thelma and Betty are all oiled up laying on beach towels sunnin OK OK so they are your cousins but hey they are still looking gooood. A group of screaming kids are splashing around in one of those 10$ blowup pools half the teenagers in the neighborhood are playing volleyball in the back 40 large aunt Marge is snoozing in what looks to be a really stressed out lawn chair under the shade of the big oak tree two big garbage cans that you hope uncle Buck remembered to hose out sit next to the garage filled with ice, cans and bottles on one of the lid's it says if you ain't at least 21 don't even think about it. But what you are really their for is the grub Sheri's 3 cheese stick to your ribs macaroni, Flo's twice baked b-b-q baked beans, Sara's creamy sweet slaw, Betty's best mashed potatoes, Sammy's slow roasted chicken gravy, Breanne's green bean casserole, Susie's ho so sweet potatoes, Barry's broasted garlic and herb potatoes, Conrad's sweat smother corn, aunt Connie's corn bread, and the reason why aunt Marge is so large blue ribbon baked apply pie but the showstopper was uncle Buck's smoked ribs and sauce and aunt Martha's perfectly broasted chicken this is the the real reason we were all their. Uncle Buck isn't around any moor he did leave me his backyard receipts we hope you will you enjoy them.
